HMA Trying to Chase Away Old Man Winter on Jan. 23, 2024

The Huntington Museum of Art will celebrate the observance of “Fasnacht” with the goal to chase away Old Man Winter during the January Tuesday Tour Series event on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, from 7 to 8 p.m. Admission is free.

The event will include mask-making activities for children; refreshments; and a chance to explore The Daywood Collection: Paintings & Sculpture exhibit with docent Fred Almeida on hand to answer questions about the artwork on display. This exhibit is on view at HMA through Feb. 11, 2024. This exhibit is presented with support from the City of Huntington Mayor’s Council for the Arts. This exhibit is presented with support from The Isabelle Gwynn and Robert Daine Exhibition Endowment. This program is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture & History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
