The Open Door Membership Campaign is the Huntington Museum of Art’s only annual appeal. Your donation entitles you to membership in one of the following categories. Memberships are available to individuals, families, organizations and businesses. Benefits of becoming a member of the Huntington Museum of Art at the $100 level or higher include receiving reciprocal general admission to dozens of southeastern museums and reciprocal general admission to hundreds of science centers worldwide.

CREATIVITY | $25 – $49

Giving at this level provides support such as:

  • Electricity in the Touma Gallery for one month

Your benefits include:

  • Free general admission
  • 10% discount on Museum Shop purchases
  • Invitations to exhibition openings
  • Free subscription to the Members’ Magazine
  • Free subscription to HMA e-communication
  • Class and camp tuition discount

HANDS ON | $50 – $99

Giving at this level provides support such as:

  • 100 sheets of clear Repro Film (TM)

SUSTAINERS CIRCLE | $5 A MONTH OR MORE

HMA is now offering the option of monthly giving through automatic draft to support HMA. The amount given between July 1 and June 30 will determine member benefits.

VAN ZANDT CIRCLE | $1,000 – $1,499  

Honoring Virginia Van Zandt, a longtime supporter of HMA, who served on the Board of Trustees for more than four decades. She donated more than 200 objects to HMA’s permanent collection.

Honoring Herman P. Dean, a founding member of HMA, whose gift of an extensive antique firearms collection remains one of the most popular exhibits.

SWITZER CIRCLE | $2,500 – $3,749

Honoring Rufus Switzer, whose vision led to the creation of a trust which provides HMA with significant financial support that continues to this day.

DAINE CIRCLE | $3,750 – $4,999

Honoring Isabelle Gwynn Daine, whose forward thinking and love of art led to the creation of endowments funding technology and exhibitions as well as the construction of the Daine Gallery.

DAYWOOD CIRCLE | $5,000 – $9,999

Honoring Arthur Spencer Dayton and Ruth Woods Dayton, whose personal collection of more than 350 works of late 19th and early 20th century American art, The Daywood Collection, was donated to HMA by Mrs. Dayton in 1967.

WALTER GROPIUS CIRCLE | $10,000 +

Honoring Walter Gropius, a German architect and founder of The Bauhaus School who, in the late 1960s, designed the Gropius studios and a large addition to HMA.
