The Huntington Museum of Art will present a star party and public astronomy talk on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 6 p.m. when NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White presents “The Lucy Mission & the Asteroids Around Us.” Admission to this 4th Tuesday Tour event is free and open to people of all ages.
After the presentation by White, who is a Marshall University graduate student, a star party will take place with the viewing of night sky objects with telescopes if weather allows. Light refreshments will be available.
“The Education Department is happy to welcome the return of NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White for another exciting astronomy event at the Huntington Museum of Art,” said Cindy Dearborn, HMA Education Director. “Our astronomy event in November was a lot of fun.
