The Huntington Museum of Art will offer “It’s a Jungle in Here: Celebrating the C. Fred Edwards Conservatory 30th Birthday Party!” on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Tickets for this fundraising event, beginning at $100 each, are available for purchase at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/its-a-jungle-in-here-a-30th-birthday-party-tickets-1986567702475
The May 1 event for those who are 21 and older will include music, food, and beverages inside HMA’s Virginia Van Zandt Great Hall and outside beneath the tented courtyard.
“There are multiple ways this year, beginning with the May 1 party, that the public can help the Huntington Museum of Art celebrate the C. Fred Edwards Conservatory and raise funds to support it,” said HMA Director of Development Jennifer Wheeler. “The Conservatory is one of the most beloved spaces at the Huntington Museum of Art and we want to continue to invest in it and make it even better than ever.”
The May 1 event is part of “A Season of Celebrating the C. Fred Edwards Conservatory Presented by Leslie Petteys in Memory of Fannie Christner.” Other events marking the Conservatory’s 30th anniversary include the sale of a limited-edition print by artist Don Pendleton later in 2026; special programs offered by HMA Conservatory Director Josh Hamrick with dates to be announced soon; and a banner that will be displayed outside the Conservatory from about July through February. Beginning at $30, HMA supporters can have their names added to the banner. More details are available by calling HMA at (304) 529-2701.
The Museum Store at HMA has partnered with Haute Wick Social to offer a Conservatory Signature Candle and Perfumed Roller Fragrance, with notes specific to the Conservatory. These products will be available for purchase soon in HMA’s Museum Store.
“It’s fun to visit HMA’s C. Fred Edwards Conservatory and the staff at the Huntington Museum of Art wanted to make it fun to raise funds and celebrate the Conservatory at the same time,” Wheeler said.
