The Huntington Museum of Art will host its fifth annual “HMA Block Party” on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. This event is part of the 4th Tuesday Tour Series at HMA. Admission to the event is free.
The HMA Block Party offers a chance to see what is currently on display in HMA’s art galleries and C. Fred Edwards Conservatory, which features orchids and tropical and subtropical plants.
“The HMA Block Party is a fun way to learn about everything that the Huntington Museum of Art has to offer the community,” said HMA Director of Education Cindy Dearborn. “It is a goal at HMA to promote regional artists, so we have invited several artisans to participate as well.”
Vendors scheduled to take part in the 2026 HMA Block Party include Leslie Norris of Sugar Pop Press; Mateo Fuentes of Art.Monsters.Printmaking; Artworks by Marlee Kaiser of Guillotine Gifts; Kevin Toney from Silver Run Ranch; Sophie Kelley of Sophie Kelley Art; Art by Tia Walkup; Tiffany Purvis of Appalachia Hooked; baked goods by Sarah Fox of Lez Bake; and Marrowbone Glassworks.
In addition, HMA’s Education Department will offer a free art activity in the Education Gallery. Also, Austin’s Homemade Ice Cream and Bubs on Wheels are scheduled to attend the event so that visitors can purchase refreshments. Mountwest Community & Technical College and the West Virginia Electric Auto Association will participate in the HMA Block Party as well.
