The Hilltop Book Fair will take place on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Huntington Museum of Art. Hilltop Book Fair is a fundraiser for the Huntington Museum of Art. Admission is $5 on Saturday, Aug. 15, and free on Sunday, Aug. 16.

“Hundreds of people attend the Hilltop Book Fair and we are always excited to see everyone who comes to the Huntington Museum of Art for this event,” said Cindy Dearborn, HMA Director of Education and organizer of Hilltop Book Fair. “We have a huge selection of great books again this year.”
Book prices on Saturday, Aug. 15, will be $1 for each children’s book; $2 for each paperback book; and $3 for each hardcover book. On Sunday, Aug. 16, from noon to 5 p.m. you can fill a box with books for $10. HMA will provide the boxes for this special deal.
HMA cannot accept any additional books for this year’s Hilltop Book Fair after Aug. 2. HMA asks those wishing to donate used books after Aug. 2 to wait until September 2026 to deliver those used books to the loading dock behind the Museum.
Hilltop Book Fair is sponsored by the West Virginia Department of Tourism through its West Virginia Fairs & Festivals grant program.
