SUMMER CAMPS
EXPLORE THE WORLD OF ARTS AND NATURE
Summer Camps are a great way to get the kids out of the house and explore the worlds of art and nature.
There are classes for all age groups, starting with the Pitter Patter Art Camp, 18 months – 3 years. This class focuses on tactile and sensory experiences that ignite toddlers’ imaginations. Parents and caregivers participate along with their kids as they move from station to station.
Thanks to the Tri-State Arts Association for donating 2026 summer camp supplies in memory of their deceased members.
Camp Registration begins Friday, May 1, at 10 a.m.
Enrollment must be completed two weeks before camp begins
No exceptions will be made for ages/grades
Camps are for students who have completed the grades listed at the time of the camp.
Limited spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis
No refunds for cancellations.
CLAY CAMP
Middle School/High School Clay Camp
June 22 – 26, June 29 – July 03 (2 weeks)
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
$380 Members; $440 Non-members
Roll up your sleeves and get messy exploring different clays, wheel throwing & hand building techniques, and glazing experimentation. Opportunities for self-expression and creativity will culminate in campers developing their own personal style.
ART CAMP
Elementary Art Camp, completed K-5th grade

$190 for members, $220 for non-members
Camps are for students who have completed the grades listed at the time of the camp.
Imagination and creativity abound when campers explore painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and crafts. Opportunities for problem-solving through project-based learning art projects entice kids to learn. Art Camp is for elementary aged kids and is divided into 3 separate age groups: Camp for students who have completed K-1, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th.

YOUNG EXPLORERS
Young Explorers, 4-5 years

Art making, trail walks, and gallery games capture youngsters’ imaginations and encourage self-expression. Parents may drop off their children for this half-day immersion in a museum experience.
STEAM CAMP
STEAM Camp, completed 3rd-5th grade

Science, technology, engineering, art, and math merge in this fun and exploratory camp experience. A variety of activities will engage campers in all five STEAM disciplines and provide a week of fun-filled learning.
THE ART OF READING AND WRITING
The ART of Reading and Writing for K through 2nd
July 20 – 24
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
$190 Members; $220 Non-members
Whether a work of art, a wall of text, or a web of equations, reading is the skill which bridges all learning. In this camp, students will experiment with the many ways in which reading connects us to the world. Using close examination of grade-level appropriate works of literature, small group writing workshops, and hands-on production of varied works combining creative writing and visual art, students will engage in ways to activate reading comprehension, foster stronger written communication skills, and bolster creativity while collaborating with peers. All learners welcome.

Lace up your hiking boots! Campers will explore the Museum’s woodland trails and creek as well as the C. Fred Edwards Conservatory. They will also create their own nature-related art in the Museum’s studio spaces. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor adventure.
